Solar park station
Internal busbar and step-up of strings/inverters to medium voltage – with remote monitoring.
From internal step-up to the handover to the medium-voltage grid: we deliver the complete grid connection for your solar farm – to VDE-AR-N 4110, SF6-free and made in Europe.
Every kWp you cannot feed in costs return. We size the station so that feed-in power, grid level and grid-operator requirements fit together from the start.
Transformer and switchgear sized exactly to the plant power – no curtailment from undersized equipment.
NA protection, power-plant controller and metering to VDE-AR-N 4110 – including grid-operator coordination and approval.
Turnkey concrete station, set into a pit – under 10 m² footprint, no building permit required in Germany.
Internal busbar and step-up of strings/inverters to medium voltage – with remote monitoring.
The all-rounder for small and mid-size farms: step-up 0.4–0.8 kV to up to 24 kV in one unit.
The handover point to the public grid – with instrument metering, protection and utility approval.
The inverters feed into the busbar of the solar park station at low-voltage level. The transformer raises the voltage to medium voltage (10, 20 or 30 kV). The transfer station handles the controlled, metered feed-in to the public grid.
Grid-compliant means NA protection to VDE-AR-N 4110, a power-plant controller for active and reactive power set-points, and calibrated instrument metering at the grid connection point. We handle the full engineering and utility approval.
| Plant power | Transformer (guide) | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| up to 750 kWp | 800 kVA | Compact station |
| up to 1,200 kWp | 1,250 kVA | Compact station |
| up to 2,400 kWp | 2,500 kVA | Solar park station |
| up to 3,000 kWp | 3,150 kVA | Park station + transfer |
| > 3,000 kWp | multiple units | Park + transfer station |
Guide values – the exact sizing is determined by the configurator or our engineering team.
Usually a solar park station for internal step-up plus a transfer station at the grid connection point. For smaller farms a combined compact transformer station is often enough. Sizing depends on plant power, grid level and grid-operator requirements.
For the medium-voltage grid, VDE-AR-N 4110 applies together with the grid operator's technical connection conditions (TAB). NA protection and a power-plant controller are required – both can be integrated into our stations.
As a guide, transformer power follows plant power – a 1,200 kWp plant typically needs around 1,250 kVA. Up to 3,150 kVA per station; above that, multiple units are used.
Compact stations under 10 m² require no building permit in any German state. For international sites we check the local requirements.
